Electronic Business, generally referred as ‘e-business’ or ‘E-business’, can, in a wide form, be defined as a particular manner of maintaining the relationships in business and marketing services, products and even information, utilizing the computer based communication networks. Even though, e-business is generally used to refer to only the marketing of products and services through internet aided marketing channels, it includes much broader economic activity. It enables the business firms to connect their inside and outside data processing gadgets in a more effective and flexible manner. E-tourism is actually the amalgamation of two different fast developing industries. The first of them is surely tourism industry where the modern human being of the twenty-first century cannot help travelling to various destinations. The second industry connected to e-tourism is none other than the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and its gadgets like telecommunication devices, software products, server providers, and so on. As such, it raises a lot of questions to these companies to keep pace with these fast developing technological improvements. In a country like Oman, these possibilities are still unexplored areas of business, and we can expect the companies related to these fields in our nation will surely move forward to the ultimate levels of emploration.
