In order to maintain at a high level of academic standard, unit and instructor performance evaluation are measured at the end of semester. Current feedback system put a heavy workload on the academic admin staff. They create the feedback questionnaires and print large quantity of feedback forms out. Then the feedback questionnaires give to student to fill in by lecturer schedule time in the lecture. Students normally need to be done within a short period of time. The feedback questionnaires collect by the lecturer and handing back to the academic staff. There will be need huge space to keep the questionnaires. Then academic staff will carry out the processing by summarise statistic and enter the data into computer to generate charts or diagrams. These will require a long period of the time to finish all the forms. As we can see, Current system requires large amount of human effort and time to produce simple feedback report.
Then the academic staff will generate the unit report for lecturers to help them planning for next year’s delivery of the unit. They will also generate an lecturer performance report and give it to academic staff. Doing in this way to make sure the lecturer has teaching in high standard and appropriate method of teaching.
